Quezon City
- Dialysis Access is an important mode of renal replacement therapy for
patients with chronic kidney disease.
With these, the Society recognizes how care and education of the
patients, physicians handling patients with vascular access for hemodialysis
and other allied health workers play a pivotal role in the survival of this
subset of patients. Such education will be translated to proactive behavior in
the care of vascular access.
While no
lightning strikes at the same place twice, the Society was invited by the National
Kidney and Transplant Institute Department of Nephrology to hold a vascular
access lecture and workshop in the 25th Post - Graduate Course in
Dialysis: Dialysis in the 21st
Century and Beyond last October 11, 2018 at the Lecture Halls of the
National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Quezon City.
